Autumn is always a good opportunity for discoveries. The ideal season to go out and visit enchanting locations. Locations which we never include in our holiday travel plans but which at the same time, in other moments during the year – caught up in our fretful and chaotic daily routines – we do not even manage to find an hour to learn about them. Nooks and crannies of Tuscany which in this way might well remain in a sort of limbo, running the risk of disappearing from our cultural “radars”. And this is where “Toscana & Chianti” wants to launch a provocation. Or rather, a challenge, aimed at inviting our readers to find half a day or a weekend to dedicate, for example, to San Gimignano. Or go towards an out-of-season Versilia, in search of – apart from the seaside or enchanting mountains – the history of facilities which have had a golden era such as Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio. Or – better still – places bearing amazing charm such as Lake Massaciuccoli. The selection our editorial staff at Toscana & Chianti has done, is yet again full of proposals. Enjoy reading!
